The 8 1/2" blade is made out of 5160 high carbon steel, with a 4 1/2" handle which is made of Bacote wood with two aluminum pins. The thickness of the blade is 3/16" and the width is 3 3/16". This knife will hold a very good edge and is still easy to sharpen. No sheath but can be custom ordered before shipping.
